Sacred Planet Books seeks inquiry into planetary healing, personal transformation, redemption, inclusion, affirmation, and spirit. It has several major publishing spheres but is open to the unknown. Because Sacred Planet curator Richard Grossinger founded and developed North Atlantic Books, the editors will continue to collect in areas he curated there: somatics (bodywork), internal martial arts, alternative medicine, shamanism, the Western occult, psychology, anthropology, ethnopharmacology, herbalism, and Black-Mountain-oriented literature.
Alchemy will be of increasing interest because it offers an occult pathway into microbiology, physics, and climate science, providing a psychospiritual component and a shamanic intercession. It lands somewhere around the Tibetan Karmapa helping the Hopi renew their lapsed rain dance during a drought and the algorithms of artificial intelligence confronting the transmutative carbon and silicon imbedded in living systems: transmutational biology = transmutational meteorology. Shamanic alchemy is a pathway for active climate re-breathing and prayer.
